Zaim feeding himself

I just started to teach him to feed himself. Before this i just let him play with the spoon and empty plate, until i think he finally get the concept of food, plate and spoon. Also he passed the drinking skills both from cup and straw few months back. But he refuse to drink from sippy cup, and i dont mind. =) So today, we tried to put some rice on his plate and let him do the feeding on his own. But of course, there are big mess around the table.... - the main reason to have 1st try at food court and not at home. =P With a little help from mommy and babah, he managed to finish his meal. Yeay! A good try i can say. Keep up the good work Zaim! And yeah, when he's full and bored, he forgot the concept of eating and start to throw away all...- rice, plate and spoon. All gone. LOL

Bile last korang makan? Me? It was agessss ago! Dah lame kepingin tapi tade time nak beli. Arini mase jenjalan kat KLCC while waiting for Zaim main kat Isetan tu, i grab one. Tadela sedap mane pun... maniss gile macam minum air gula hekehkehek.. Tapi hati puassss sebab dah rase... =P Esok kan posee..And finally, would like to take this opportunity to wish all Muslims around the world a Happy Ramadhan Mubarak. Selamat Berpuasa dan Beribadat. Oh, and salam merdeka dari saya juga. Merdeka! Merdeka! Merdeka!

Welcoming Ramadhan 2008

• On first note, i failed to fully qada my fast for last year. Kene denda beras lagik. My fault not to qada earlier. =(
• Hehe, this morning i woke up early purposely to go Pasar Tani. Yeah to be honest, i only cook for hubby during Ramadhan. I actually wanted to cook for him everyday but frankly, i couldnt do it. With my hectic working life, i only managed to do house chores and manage all other stuff for both my man and my lil man except food. Food for zaim, i still manage to prepare but for hubby love, it is impossible except if he take care of zaim, while i do the cooking. But during Ramadhan i will cook everyday for him especially for Sahur. This year, berazam tinggi to improve my cooking skill. Bought few magazines of recipe. Pray for me okay? Haha i know you doesnt believe me cooking, but i will prove to you. Just wait and see. I will be the expert woman in the kitchen as well in the office - satu hari nanti! - On serious note, i learned how to buy fish, meat and chicken from pasar. And i had learned how to cut and siang them. Learned here means, look how my mom and orang kat pasar buat. I dont have hands-on experience yet. Heheh...
• I also wish i could read Quran everyday during Ramadhan. I admit i hardly read Quran since i have my baby boy. I know it's not an excuse, but i really tried to make it as amalan after Solat - as i normally did when i was single. Since now Zaim is a big boy now, and he also can sit still if he hear Quranic verses, i hope i can achieve this target. InsyaAllah. Nway, many thanks to Nursery Puspeta - they expose a lot of Quranic verse to Zaim and Islamic teaching since Zaim was a small baby boy. Zaim understand if we perform prayer, azan or mengaji. He sometimes just keep quite and stare, sometimes, he join me Solat as well. Tertonggeng tonggeng!
• Ayah will start to sell Air Tebu baekkk punye! Tak caya try beli. Gile kaw punye tebu. Maness sehhh.. Original tau. Tak tambah gule! Sometimes, nak tergelak customer sllu request, no sugar. Hope rezeki Ayah bertambah murah tahun ni... Tahun-tahun lepas, tebu ayah licin. Customer berebut, sanggup queue panjang. Seronok tengok business ayah laris. =) As usual Bie will helping Ayah.

• Lastly, Happy Ramadhan. Jom kite same-same menghayati Ramadhan dan beribadat and Selamat Berpuasa. Jangan membazir beli makanan kat Pasar Juadah ok?
• Hmmm.... today Bie tanam pokok. Am not sure - kerana ape. Sempena Ramadhan, or sempena Zaim setahun or sempena Merdeka.

my noty Friday

Today sneaking out to The Garden - ade Isetan Sale during lunch time.... (yeke?) I was supposed to work shop but guess what, i did not buy anything. Ok, i lied. I bought 1 handbag that i dont really like, which only was okay to buy and i bought it just because i need to buy something to cheer me up. I actually fall in love with this one handbag, but my 1st tought it was a bit pricy for the colour and design. I tought i will forget the handbag once i bought another handbag, but i still thinking bout it. Shesss, i should just buy it without need to waste my money to thing i dont really like. =( But the handbag that i bought is quite smart and cantek jugek. Cume sebab ade yang lebih berkenan di hati tu pasal jadik depress cam ni. Kehkehek ntah hape hape je kan. End up, makan baskin robin lagi sedap. After work, bie pick me up, again heading to Garden. Bought nothing for me but a floral shirt for bie. Mark and Spencer ade sale! Go grab one! This year, bie want to wear something floral for raya. He bored with stripes design i think. Taperla still macho what... As long as tak jambuuuu sudahhh... We had our dinner at Restaurant Belanga. Sape nak makan nasi dagang, nasi lemak, bubur. Bleh la try sini.

Tonite, my eldest sister and her hubby open table for our big family - for my mom's birthday. My mom's birthday is on 1 sept, but time tu dah poser... so we celebrate earlier. We had a very meriah dinner @ Bora Ombak. The food and service are good. Thumbs up! But tonite, Zaim become a bit grumpy. He was so sleepy. He normally sleep after taking evening bath. But today he didnt. So at 9 pm, he started to shout, and become fussy and refuse to sit still in high chair. He did not enjoy the food as normally he did. But still he enjoy when it comes to play with his cousins. Terus lupe dah ngantuk tu... =P And to be suprise, we did celebrate my birthday and my elder sis birthday as well. Yeah, 3 of us are September babies. Nway, Thanks Along for the treat! Muax! Kalo tade gambar tak sah kan? =P Photo kali ni a bit special. Not taken by me, but my younger bro and hubby!

Teething

Zaim is teething... for his fifth teeth maybe. His 1st four teeths came out serentak when he approching 1 year ol. Until now, i dont see any new teeth on his mouth. Not sure if he will get another pair of teeth at one time. But lately, he loves to bite my cheek. I guess it is the sign. Lucky, he's still happy and tak meragam. LOL~ And I, as well suffering the teething problem. Not that i having my wisdom teeth or what. Just because, i just had tightened my braces. Ouch! And worst, Zaim alwes bump his head or punch me, at my mouth. It really painful! Huwaaaaa~

Amy's birthday treat @ Pizza Hut Wangsa Maju

She is wife of Bara' - my hubby best friend. Today is her birthday, so she open table for us, pizza treat! Nway, Happy Birthday Amy. Thanks for the treat! =) Owh btw, i think if you ever think to eat here, i suggest you go to other branch nearby, Taman Permata for eg. The service here was sooo lousy, the staff are sucks. All orders or request were totally ignored by them, eventho they said yes and nod when we talk to them. The food, bill were late as well. It is not the 1st time i was frustrated with them. Many times before. The last time i came is when i was pregnant, and now after 1 year the is still no improvement. Different with Taman Permata branch, they are so friendly and fast. Even they took care of Zaim while am eating. You rock bebeh! I'll surely come and eat there again.

McDonald's Drive Thru Challenge @ Kota Kemuning

We and our staria's club gather to support McD's drive thru challenge, Kota Kemuning branch. From Shah Alam we convoy to Kota Kemuning. It was quite a big convoy, since it include a few other satria's club - SPOC, SM3G, Fuze etc. Personally, i think it wasnt good idea at all. Since it was a very long long queue, the marshal keep stoping the traffic as if the jalan is belong to their mak bapak. For me it wasnt fair to other drivers. Supposed, we should divide our convoy to smaller group so we dont need to disturb the traffic. Believe me, when we arrived at McD, there were a few police car round nearby, to watch us. I think they received many complaint. Sorry for that. But its not for long, after arrived, we dont make any onar.. hehehe.. the police then just blah from the area. As usual, the photossss!

Yes, today i celebrate my love and the love. Hehehe. The same date, 27 years back, my hubby was born and 2 years back we officially glued to each other. =P

After work, he picks me up. He gave me a flower - 2 kuntum pink roses... ^_^. I gave him a card - with picture of 2 cakes... symbol la konon-kononnyeeee.... sempena 2 tawun... He drive straight to Sg. Wang. I was wondering... why we are here. Arent we supposed to eat at Concorde? He said, saje jalan-jalan. Hmmm... Yeah, i didnt think there will be any suprise as i had already received a watch as anniversary gift last week. So we walked and walked. And guess what, he bought me a brand new Canon Ixus digital camera. Was meant for my birthday present actually which is next month, but he want to give it today. Remember i was upset with the quality of my N73. Hahaha. Cool now i can take more picturesssss.. Yezzaaa.... Thanks Bie! Appreciate that!

Then we have a simply lovely and peace dinner... without Zaim.. =P Yeah, we decided not to bring him along. You know how hectic it is to run here and there with this active lil boy. This is the first time i picked him late! He never stay at nursery til nite, and yeah, it actually bothering meeee a lot. I was too worried and cant stop thinking bout him. I think i would never leave him again for any event. =P I am more than happy to let him join me at any event!

Cousins @ OneUtama

My cousin who lived in Japan fly back home for 2 weeks. I took a chance to meet her and her family especially her baby boy Affan @ One Utama. Affan and Zaim were same age, they were born in just about 1 week gap. Affan was supposed to born earlier but then turn out he was overdue and zaim was born early 1 week. Me and my cousin, Ujah as well are same age. So cool isnt it? Mommies and Babies were sharing the birth year! =P Well, back to the outing story, it was very short but yet fun. We met up at Jusco, spent our time browsing for baby stuff and running here and there to catch these 2 boys. When the boys are out of stollers, haru biru jadiknye.... Affan, he likes to lay down at shopping mall's floor... So cute! I think because he likes it, cold. Zaim, i just fish him with toy so that he sit still in his stroller. End of story. Haha. And after shopping, we went to Seri Melaka Restaurant, eat fried rice, cendol etc. Enjoy photos!

Playtime @ KLCC

Me and hubby had shave zaim's hair this morning. Actually i like him with hair. But he doesnt feel comfort with his hair. Plus, whether is hot lately. So being botak kinda good to him. He was so quiet and good while me and bie membotakkan his head. Gooooood boy! So as a reward, mommy and babah bawak jalan-jalan main-main kat KLCC park. Ok sayang? Actually this is the 1st time i bring him to park.... erkkk... zaim is now 13 months baru 1st time main swing and slide kat park??? ish ish... kesian btul. (geleng-geleng-geleng-geleng.....) Oklah enjoy photolah as usual. We really had a good time! And mind you, the parents sweat a lot than the kid. Gile penat!

Am not sure how ol is she, but according to Ayah, she was married when she was 9. Lets do the math. My Ayah is second child, and he was born on 1948. Assuming my Pak Long was born earlier 2 years, 1946, meaning to say, my Grandmom was born 1937, correct? 2008 - 1937 = 71 years old. Got the answer =) Yeah, why am not just ask my dad straight? Because am good with assumption and math. =P
